To harness this, Quest Investment Partners has founded Quest Energy, with the aim of generating climate-friendly electricity. An investment that pays off for the environment and for everyone involved. The production of electricity by means of solar energy does not just increase the value of the property, tenants will also benefit from a reduction in electricity costs and a proportionate price security thanks to the electricity produced on site without any CO2 emissions. In order to implement the photovoltaic projects on roofs, Quest Energy leases the roof areas and operates the facility, thus ensuring the operation of the solar power plants even after a potential sale of the property.

The utilisation of photovoltaic systems on unused roof surfaces significantly improves the ESG Record and reduces CO2 emissions. At the same time, this increases the value and sustainability of the property.
The produced electricity is 100% renewable energy. It’s green. The documentation from the Federal Environment Agency guarantees that the green electricity was actually generated from renewable energy sources. The fact that the green electricity is generated in a decentralised manner and consumed at the same time has a distinctly positive impact on the ESG performance of the properties.

05greentech – our partner for solar energy
The company with over 100 employees develops, plans, builds and operates solar power plants and is one of the largest independent managers of solar systems in Europe.
The company was founded in 2008 by Ingo Rehmann with a focus on photovoltaic services and initially specialised in the commercial and technical operations of photovoltaic power plants. As an experienced and independent service provider with modular services, greentech grew rapidly in these areas and also expanded its competencies in owner’s engineering and technical consulting. With the acquisition of Conergy Services GmbH in 2016, the company became one of the largest providers for the operation of photovoltaic power plants in Europe.
In October 2019, the Hamburg based entrepreneur Erck Rickmers acquired a majority stake in greentech in order to accelerate greentech’s growth in its existing business areas together with the management and to complement it with the photovoltaic project development business. As of October 2021, the range of services is completed by the plant engineering segment. Thus, greentech covers the entire value chain in the photovoltaic downstream sector.
Today, greentech offers solutions and services for the development and planning as well as the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants, both as part of the development of its own portfolio as well as for third parties. greentech is active in 10 countries and has gained experience from over 400 photovoltaic projects. This makes the company one of the largest independent photovoltaic specialists in Europe.
