Company

On 15 June 2016, the company was estab­lished by the partners Erck Rickmers, Jan Rouven Künzel, Theja Geyer and Dr. Detlev Broszehl. With QUEST Investment Partners, experi­enced entre­pre­neurs from Hamburg aim to set new standards in real estate project develo­pment and management.

Managing directors

The QUEST Investment Partners team has far-reaching experience in the develo­pment of retail, office, residential and speciality real estate. In the area of develo­pment and asset­ma­nagement, QUEST offers the holistic range of services for real estate. The develo­pment, realiz­ation, struc­turing and management of real estate.

Jan Rouven Künzel

J.R. Künzel is a partner and managing director of the QUEST Investment GmbH and the QUEST Management GmbH. He is the head of the units New Business, Project Develo­pment, Finances and Organi­sation.

    On behalf of the Art-Invest Real Estate group of companies, he was, as a partner, respon­sible for the business activities of the group in Hamburg and nationwide for the business unit Retail.

    Prior to this, J.R. Künzel developed for seven years highstreet projects for the private investors of the B&L Group in Germany. As a branch manager for IVG, he estab­lished the develo­pment business in Hamburg and was additio­nally respon­sible for the asset management for all real estate properties in Hamburg and Northern Germany with an overall value of EUR 1.6 billion. After that, he assumed in the role of a managing partner of Water­bound Real Estate the respon­si­bility for the project develo­p­ments of the Mayfair AG.

    Jan Rouven Künzel is a trained Diplom-Ingenieur (graduate engineer) of Archi­tecture (Campus Kiel) und Diplom-Ökonom (qualified economist) (ADI – Berufs­aka­demie Stuttgart).

Theja Geyer

T. Geyer is a partner and managing director of the QUEST Investment GmbH and the QUEST Management GmbH. He is the head of the units Project Develo­pment, Investment, Asset Management as well as Planning and Construction.

    On behalf of the Art-Invest Real Estate group of companies he was, as a partner, respon­sible for the project Alter Wall in Hamburg with a volume of EUR 250 million.

    Prior to that, T. Geyer was the autho­rized signatory of Water­bound Real Estate and in this capacity he was respon­sible for the project in the project develo­pment for the Mayfair AG. At IVG, he was respon­sible for the rental business, the project develo­pment and the asset management inter alia for the European headquarters of the Hermes Logis­tik­gruppe. Being an architekt with GKK (Gössler, Kinz, Kreienbaum), he developed for the private investors such as the B&L‑Group office and retail objects in Hamburg.

Ulrich Rössing

Ulrich Rössing is Managing Director at QUEST Management GmbH, in charge of technical develo­pment, investment management as well as the planning and construction division.

    Ulrich Rössing worked at ECE Projekt­ma­nagement G.m.b.H. & Co. KG in Hamburg for more than twelve years. Since 2008, he had been in charge of project and construction management of the office, traffic and industry projects in his capacity as Director Construction. He was also Managing Director of several general contractor companies.

    From 2017 to 2020, he served as Managing Director of DSR Immobilien GmbH in Hamburg and Rostock, where he was respon­sible for the technical project develo­pment and the project management of various holiday hotels and resorts.

    Prior to that, he carried out planning-related work as a freelance architect and was subse­quently employed by a general contractor operating across Germany for several years. Here, his respon­si­bi­lities included tenant and planning coordi­nation.

    Ulrich Rössing graduated at Leipniz University in Hanover. As an architect, he is a member of the Hamburg Chamber of Archi­tects.

Luis Walther-Kraft

As Head of Transac­tions & Partnering, Luis Walther-Kraft is respon­sible for the purchase and sale of real estate as well as for partnerships with third-party investors (joint ventures).

    Luis Walther-Kraft previously worked at GLL Real Estate Partners in Munich and Paris on the purchase and sale of real estate in the pan-European sector. He was involved in transac­tions amounting to 500 million euros.

    Prior to that, he worked for a company valuing European real estate.

    Luis Walther-Kraft completed a Master of Science in Real Estate at the IREBS Inter­na­tional Real Estate Business School in Regensburg and at Henley Business School in Reading, UK.

Valeria Naumenkova

Valeria Naumenkova is Director of Sourcing & Acqui­si­tions at the Berlin office. She is respon­sible for the purchase and sale of real estate invest­ments.

    Prior to that, she worked as an investment broker in the office and retail sector at Cushman & Wakefield in Berlin for four years. After studying real estate economics, Valeria Naumenkova spent five years working from London and Milan as an independent broker for cement products on the Russian market. During her studies she was a working student at Hines Immobilien GmbH in the sales division for closed-end real estate funds for two and a half years. She was also an intern in the fields of real estate finance and debt sales at Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt.

    Valeria Naumenkova holds a Bachelor of Arts in Real Estate Economics. She completed her studies at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Holzminden and at the School of Surveying at Kingston University in London.

Jenny Kunk

Jenny Kunk is Director Finance & Opera­tions at QUEST.

    Jenny Kunk most recently held the position of Director Portfolio Management at Aquila Capital, where she was respon­sible for finance and controlling. She was also in charge of the process and organi­sa­tional develo­pment of real estate invest­ments in Germany, Luxem­bourg and Spain and held various seats on the advisory board in Luxem­bourg.

    Prior to that, Jenny Kunk was Managing Director of the real estate company of MPC Capital AG, where her respon­si­bi­lities included the develo­pment and estab­lishment of the project develo­pment and management company in the student housing sector.

    Jenny Kunk completed her studies in archi­tecture (Diplom-Ingenieurin Archi­tektur) at the Technical University of Darmstadt. She also obtained a degree in real estate economics at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.

In the selection of the locations, QUEST is focussing in the field of office premises on urban ares (City and district locations) in Hamburg and Berlin as well on good central locations (prime locations) of German urban centers in the area of retail develo­p­ments. Due to longterm connec­tions and the good relati­onship with the tenants, new project ideas evolve even before the acqui­sition of real property.

In the realiz­ation of sophisti­cated retail estates or modern office premises QUEST ensures from the start a smooth process through a close coope­ration with the autho­rities, munici­pa­lities and project partners as well as the proven coope­ration with renowned archi­tects and consulting engineers.
